Is my data really private?
Yes — by architecture, not by promise. Recording, transcription, speaker separation and summarisation all run on your iPhone. Your meeting content is never uploaded and there is no account. Optional backup uses your own iCloud. (Anonymous, content-free diagnostics and App Store billing are the only things that touch a network — see our Privacy Policy.)
Which devices are supported?
Recording and transcription work across a wide range of recent iPhones. The on-device AI summary requires an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, where Apple's neural models are available.
Which languages does it handle?
The app runs in 16 languages, and transcription covers every language Apple supports on-device. Crucially, you choose the summary language independently of the recording — capture a meeting in English, read the summary in German, Swedish or Vietnamese.
How does the free trial work?
Seven days, full features, no charge. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. Billing is handled by the App Store — we never see a card.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Because your meeting data never leaves the device, there is no processing of your content on our servers and no third-party content sharing. That makes Sopravo a natural fit for GDPR and for confidential client work in the DACH region.
Can I label speakers?
Yes. Sopravo separates speakers automatically; name each one once and the label carries through the whole transcript and into the action items.
Does it work without internet?
Yes — end to end. Recording, transcription, speaker separation and the AI summary all run in airplane mode. The only optional network features are backup to your own iCloud and App Store billing.
Does a bot join my calls?
Never. Sopravo records from your iPhone in the room, like a dictaphone on the table — no bot appears in anyone's Zoom, Meet or Teams call. The flip side: it cannot attend remote meetings for you. It is built for conversations you are actually in.
How can I verify the privacy claims?
Don't take our word for it. We publish the complete list of every network request the app can make, plus three tests anyone can run — airplane mode, an HTTPS proxy, and the analytics opt-out. Full details at sopravo.app/verify.
Why is there a subscription and a lifetime plan?
Pick the model you trust. Both start with the same 7-day free trial: after it, keep a subscription — or pay once with the limited lifetime plan (first 500 buyers, real counter). There is no free tier: Sopravo shows no ads and sells no data, so the price is the entire business model.
